 POP WARNER NIGHT AT SMHS A SUCCESS! Friday, August 31 was Pop Warner Night at San Marcos High School. A record amount of San Marcos Pop Warner football players and cheer leaders attended the game, and enjoyed watching the Knights win their season opener games against San Ysidro. The stadium was standing room only, as the Pop Warner kids made a tunnel for the varsity players to come on the field, and in return, the varsity chanted (whatever that growl-pump deal is called) for the Pop Warner players as they left the field. KUSI's Prep Pigskin was out with T.V. camera's as well- so everyone was pumped, what a great way to start the football season! |
