Pop Warner Night at San Marcos High School
The Pop Warner night at San Marcos High was a great
success! The day began at 4PM for many of our Pop Warner Cheerleaders as
they joined the Varsity and Junior Varsity squads to learn cheers and have
dinner. They cheered during both the 3rd & 4th quarters of the JV game
and the 1st quarter of the Varsity game.
SMPW teams were introduced as they marched across the track in front of the stands. KUSI News Prep Pigskin'sTV camera was there to film the visiting SMPW players, and footage was aired at 11PM (http://www.kusi.com/ppr).
Before the start of the game, SMPW players, cheerleaders, and coaches were invited down to the field to welcome the Knights Varsity starters in a gauntlet-style opening tunnel. Knights Varsity football players and cheerleaders greeted the SMPW players warmly.
Overall, a great night was had by everyone as they watched an exciting game!
